This seems like a pretty scary story. Especially for people without Windows XP SP2. The article says the software can install on a non-SP2 system without any user intervention required.

Here is an article on the OS X firewall. I want to try to figure out a system where I could keep an eye out on the outgoing connections my system makes. Any suggestions? OS X maybe safe for now, but who knows what the future holds.
