Solaris Express -- Get the Software

Solaris Express -- Get the Software

Solaris 10 for the download! I wonder how good the hardware support is. One of the main reasons I dont have FreeBSD installed on my system is that I dont know if it will be able to run my wireless network card (Netgear WG511). There is pretty good support for the card in the Linux kernel right now. However, when I bought the card, around March or April of this year, support was available through third party drivers that you had to download, compile and install. It was a pain, and it took me a while. I probably will have to do the same with FreeBSD if there is a third party driver, and it will take me some time. I just dont have the time anymore. If the same is true for Solaris 10, well then I'm not installing. Its one thing to try and do it with Linux (I've been using it since 1997) but to do it on an alien OS, is something I dont have time for at the moment. I've installed Solaris 9 before, and I had problems. I'm expecting the same with 10.
